Everyone, PLEASE pray for Jacob Wells. He is 6 years old and his heart has failed him.. He goes in for surgery tomorrow for 10 hours. This surgery has only been preformed a handful of time nationwide with very little positive results.. He REALLY needs your thoughts and prayers right now. Please spread the word.
UPDATE:
The Berlin heart is working!!!!! They are now working on closing him up. The next 24-72 hours will decide. God is so good. I cannot even express how huge this is for him! Keep praying!!! Jacob is a success story. Please keep him in your prayers! Thank you all for the amazing support!!
Another Update:
Jacob update: “He’s ok, they are tweaking things a bit. Today might be a challenging day. They need to get a new iv (pic) line placed for access. They are trying to wean him from the vent still and he has so much fluid so his numbers are not great, but still ok. Please please keep praying guys, it means the world to me!”
That is straight from his dad to us. He is a strong man for watching his son go through this for 6 years.. Please everyone, keep Jacob and his family in your prayers. I am blown away at the response we have been receiving. I was curious how people would feel about donating a dollar towards his new heart? There are 21,000 people re-blogging this story, if everyone could pitch in a dollar, that would take a HUGE financial burden off of his family. Just a thought.
